Souri graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2011 with a degree in American Studies and Politics. It was there that she cultivated an interest in unreadable German philosophers, good Thai food, and – most of all – the free exchange of ideas and knowledge. It was also in college that she decided to pursue publishing as a career path. So, after enrolling in a ten-week editorial internship in the summer of 2010, she is excited and ready to work in publishing. When she isn’t working, Souri enjoys reading, hiking, road trips and participating in lengthy discussions about nerdy things. She hopes one day to start and finish writing a story.
