Ros grew up in Canberra, the pleasant but little-known capital city of Australia, where she completed a Bachelor of Philosophy (Science) at the Australian National University in 2010. Hoping to bring to her passion for science to the fast-evolving world of publishing, she travelled across the globe and found herself in Cambridge, where she is delighted to be working for PLoS. After a satisfying day of supporting open access, Ros enjoys a good novel, playing the cello, conversations over tea, and walking on green grass and cobblestone streets.
