Raquel grew up in San Lorenzo, CA and graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2010 with a degree in the History of Art and Visual Culture. While working at the UCSC Library, her fascination with library science and research was sparked. Raquel is thrilled to support open access research as part of the PLoS ONE team. During her spare time, you can find her wandering Bay Area museums and spending quality time with family and friends.
