Like every good librarian, Nina loves cats (in particular her tailless cat Catsu), books (reading is her favorite pastime), and finding information (because learning is fun). She also loves that good librarians are needed everywhere which is why she is very excited to be working at PLoS and being a part of the open access movement. She has a B.A. in English from UC Riverside and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from UCLA. Her heroes are Tina Fey, Ira Glass, and Larry David.
