Mike Fisher

Production Operations Manager

Mike is originally from Pennsylvania. After spending three years in southern California, Mike decided to make the Bay Area his permanent home in 1988. Mike spent a number of years in the Air Force travelling the world and holding jobs ranging from a weekly newspaper editor to photojournalist. After leaving the military, he worked as a production editor/writer in the software industry for the next 20 years helping produce award-winning documentation. A strong believer in PLoS’s goals, he is thrilled to be working with such a talented group of dedicated individuals. Mike also enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, hiking, watch collecting, and watching Sharks hockey.
