Jennifer Laloup

Jen graduated from Colorado State University in 2005 with degrees in Speech Communication and Technical Journalism.  Shortly after graduation, she began to work for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer on PBS where she assisted their Science Unit.  This event initiated Jen’s interest in sharing scientific developments with a broader audience.  In 2007, she decided to make the move to San Francisco where her internship with Wired Magazineincreased her enthusiasm for open-access information.  Jen is excited be in San Francisco and at PLoS ONE.  In her spare time, she enjoys developing her baking expertise and all things outdoors.
