Liz grew up in New Zealand where she studied biochemistry at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch. For her Masters, Liz focused on Free Radical Biochemistry and its role in heart disease but then decided that helping to publish other people’s research was more up her alley. In her spare time Liz does a little rock climbing (one of the attractions of moving to California), tries to read the occasional work of literature, likes to be out and about and gets involved with pretty much whatever is going on.
