Cory grew up in Davis, CA, and graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2010 with a degree in Environmental Studies. While working in library administration, he became fascinated with the movement and freedom of knowledge. He works on a variety of tasks at PLoS Pathogens, namely handling press relations, appeals, changes to the editorial board, and supporting the senior editors. When not at work, Cory enjoys cooking, searching out good eats, playing music, and anything outdoors.
