After completing a Masters in Linguistics at Cambridge, Clare came to PLoS in 2010 with next to no scientific knowledge, and is slowly but enthusiastically attempting to acquire some. Delighted to be contributing to the open access movement, as a Publications Assistant on PLoS Medicine she fields author, reviewer, editor and press queries. Outside work she loves to run, discover new and exciting ways to cook vegetables, go to the theatre, and spend time in the many cafés of Cambridge.
