Adrian Aldcroft

Adrian studied Psychology at Western University in London, Canada, before becoming a laboratory director for Professor Tutis Vilis at what is now known as The Brain and Mind Institute, also based at Western. After publishing a number of papers that used fMRI to study motion and object perception in the brain, Adrian moved to London, UK, to pursue a career as a scientific editor. Before joining PLOS in 2013, Adrian was a Senior Executive Editor for the BMC-Series, where he had a particular focus on Medical Ethics and Medical Imaging. Outside of science, Adrian enjoys reading, cycling, and travelling.
