I enjoyed reading your comments on the Open Medicine copyright issue. I've thought about how the open access movement might affect medical illustrators, and written a few posts on my blog . The main challenge I see ahead are,... how are those who provide support for the academic community going to make a living?
Has anyone thought about how the open access movement is going to affect the economics of publishing and education?
